Impressive Debut Winner for Rebel Dane
Rebel Dane was relocated to Widden Stud this spring off the back of the achievements of his Champion 2YO Filly and Golden Slipper winner Fireburn, the promising sire posting an impressive debut winner at Kembla on Thursday.
Trained by Pat Murphy and ridden by Jay Ford, Rebel Dean was easy in the market, but belied the lack of interest from punters to bolt clear and win the 1000m maiden by four and a half lengths.
How did this start $41? Huge debut!

A multiple Group I winning grand-son of Danehill, Rebel Dane covered just 141 mares in his first five seasons at stud, but the emergence of Fireburn has seen him given a chance at commercial success and he is priced at $27,500 .
Rebel Dean is his tenth winner from 24 runners with a further seven place-getters and $3.9million earner Fireburn is his best offspring to date followed by Group III winner Subterranean and stakes-placed Lloyd’s Crown.
