Onwards and Upwards for Satirically
Well bred Snitzel colt Satirically is the first foal of multiple Group winning mare Paradee and he scored a stylish win at Sandown on Easter Monday, his second victory from just three starts.
Foaled and raised at Widden Stud for his breeder Robert Anderson, Satirically was a good looking colt from day dot and fetched $800,000 when offered in the Widden Stud draft at Inglis easter where he was snapped up by Kia Ora / TFI / Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott / Kestrel Thoroughbreds.
Given a solid grounding at the trials, Satirically made a winning debut at Warwick Farm in February before finishing a close third at Randwick last month on a slow track.
Dispatched to Melbourne with a view to upcoming stakes races, Satirically produced a strong effort when stepped up to 1600m and forged clear to win by nearly three lengths for Jordan Childs carrying 60kg.

Satirically is the first foal of Paradee, who was bought as a yearling back in 2018 at the Magic Millions by Robert Anderson for $240,000.
The daughter of Epaulette proved a classy customer winning six races and nearly $1million in prizemoney with a highlight victory in the Group II MRC Peter Young Stakes and a fourth in the Group I VRC Australian Cup.
Paradee has a yearling filly by Snitzel and produced a colt last spring by Zoustar before being covered by Broadsiding.
