Seventh Win for Happy Cha Cha

Hong Kong – Scoring his seventh win in Hong Kong on Wednesday at Sha Tin was six year-old gelding Happy Cha Cha, a $120,000 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale purchase for Apollo Ng from the draft of Widden Stud.

Trained by Me Tsui Yu-sak, Happy Cha Cha stormed through the pack under a nice rails ride by Jacky Tong Chi-kit to win the 1650 metre event by the best part of a length.

Happy Cha Cha has improved with maturity with four of his seven wins coming this year.

He is a half-brother by More Than Ready (USA) to stakes-placed First Course from Short ‘n’ Sweep, a half-sister to stakes-winner Blizzardly.
