South African Winner for Zoustar
Breaking her maiden in good style at Kenilworth on Wednesday was promising three year-old Zoustar filly Boomps a Daisy.
A $360,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the Widden Stud draft for Craig Roscoe/Brett Crawford, Booms a Daisy improved on placings at her first two starts to score a three and a quarter length win over 1000 metres as favourite.
Bred by Widden in partnership, Boomps a Daisy is the first winner for Group III winning Red Ransom (USA) mare Fuddle Dee Duddle, a half-sister to Group II winner Hallowell Belle from the family of Caulfield Guineas winner In Top Swing.
Fuddle Dee Duddle has a weanling filly by Sebring and is back in foal to Zoustar.
