Stratum Filly Snares Group Three
With four straight wins at her past four starts, Stratum filly Enquare is clearly going places after claiming a stylish victory in the Group III BRC Vo Rogue Plate at Doomben on Saturday.
Prepared by Jason McLachlan, Enquare was handy throughout and kicked on strongly to win the 1350 metre sprint by three-quarters of a length over Gundy Spirit and top class filly Missy Longstocking.
Her overall record is now an impressive five wins and two placings from nine starts with prizemoney of $299,550.
A $45,000 Magic Millions purchase for her trainer from the Southern Cross Breeders draft, Enquare has struck top form at a good time of year with the rich Magic Millions race day in January looming on the horizon.
Enquare is the best of three winners from multiple Group III winning sprinter Skewiff, who is now with Rosemont Stud in Victoria and produced a colt by Toorak Toff this spring.
Enquare is one of 21 stakes-winners for top class sire Stratum, who has 17 youngsters catalogued for Magic Millions 2014.
