Streama Honoured at NSWROA Night of Champions
Top class mare Streama was honoured at the New South Wales Racehorse Owners Association’s (NSWROA) Night of Champions function in Sydney last night taking the awards for NSW Horse of the Year, Champion 3YO and Queen of the Autumn.
The Guy Walter trained daughter of Golden Slipper winning sire Stratum was ultra-consistent during the season starting nine times for five wins and three placings, her highlight victories coming in the Group I ATC Australian Oaks and Flight Stakes.
A homebred for Geoffrey Coghlan and his family, Streama has won $1.1 million in prizemoney and is heading towards another lucrative spring campaign aimed at the Group I VRC Myer Classic in Melbourne.
Widden Stud would like to congratulate everyone associated with Streama on her remarkable achievements and wish her the best of luck this season.
