Sydney Trial Winner for Dreamscape
Dreamscape was the first of the freshman sires to strike a blow at the official two year-old trials at Randwick on Monday morning with the Gai Waterhouse trained Gooree Stud homebred Himpapawid scoring a tenacious win in his heat after being headed in the straight.
Gooree Stud bred and raced Dreamscape, who was a Group II winning sprinter for the Waterhouse stable, and have supported the son of Choisir since his retirement to Widden Stud.
Himpapawid is a half-brother to Group III winning juvenile Shared Reflections and is from the Hurricane Sky mare Ulap, a half-sister to stakes-winner Jolanda.
From the same female family as ill-fated Northern Meteor, Dreamscape stands at a fee of $5,500 this year.
