$120,000 Colt for Portland Sky

Widden Stud’s Group I MRC Oakleigh Plate winner Portland Sky had a good result at the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale this week when his colt from Jawhara sold for $120,000 to WS Bloodstock.

The Mullaglass Stud bred and sold colt is a three-quarter brother to this season’s stakes-placed juvenile Full Force, who is also by a sire son of Deep Field, the sire of Portland Sky.

Portland Sky also had colts from Talented Miss and Kiss in the Rain sell for $46,000 and $40,000 to Carringbush Park and Baddock Bloodstock.

Portland Sky has three more weanlings to be offered at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale later this month.
