$600,000 for Stratum Colt
Stratum has been enjoying strong results at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale with a colt from terrific producer Fleeting Touch (USA) proving popular on Wednesday when selling for $600,000.
Consigned by Widden Stud and bought by George Moore Bloodstock/ Gary Moore Racing, the colt is a sibling to Group II winner Running Tall, Group I winner Sensibility and stakes-placed Ephemera.
“We bought the brother Running Tall who was supposed to come to Hong Kong but fortunately raced over here and won the Sires’,” Moore told ANZ Bloodstock News.
“He was a proper horse and this one was very similar. A very athletic, good moving horse, who looks like an early two-year-old to us.
“He ticked all the boxes and we have had a lot of luck with Stratum, who has been doing well in Hong Kong.
Also popular the Stratum half-sister to last week’s Hong Kong stakes-winner Lucky Bubbles that made $400,000 for Musk Creek Farm when bought by Woppitt Bloodstock.
