$210,000 Nicconi Colt at Magic Millions Adelaide

The second highest priced yearling sold during the first session of the 2018 Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale was a stylish colt by Nicconi from Sparkle Arkle that sold for $210,000.

Consigned by Princess Park Thoroughbred Farm, the colt was bought by Yu Long Investments.

Sam Fairgray of Yu Long Investments said the colt would head into training with Mick Price at Caulfield.

“Mr Zhang loved the horse physically and though he was a real athlete. It’s great to add a well muscled colt like this to our racing team,” he told ANZ Bloodstock News.

Princess Park Thoroughbred Farm celebrated a successful pinhook with the Sparkle Arkle colt who was bought as a weanling at Magic Millions for just $60,000 by Sheamus Mills Bloodstock  last year from the Lincoln Farm draft.
