More Black Type for Bonaria
Blue-blooded Redoute’s Choice mare Bonaria was foaled and raised at Widden Stud for her owner breeders Robert and Deborah Anderson and provided a great result for them when scoring her second Black Type victory when taking out the Group III MRC Mannerism Stakes at Caulfield on Saturday.
The Pat Hyland trained five year-old finished with a powerful surge to take the 1400 metre contest by a length, her overall record now six wins and nine placings from 31 starts with prizemoney of $487,609.
Bred and retained to race by Mr and Mrs Anderson, Bonaria is a half-sister to Group III winners Time Out and Legally Bay being one of six winners from the good producing Last Tycoon (IRE) mare Decidity, who has a yearling filly by Stratum and is now back in foal to the same sire.
