Most Represented Sire at MM 2015
The 2015 Magic Millions Yearling catalogue went online last week with our red hot young sire Sebring the most represented sire with 53 lots in the sale.
Sebring has gone from strength to strength since last year’s sale and his progeny can be expected to be in keen demand with star lots including: a full brother to Group II winner Bring Me the Maid; full sister to Group III winner Kiss a Rose; a half-brother to Group I STC Coolmore Classic winner Regal Cheer; a three-quarter sister to Group II winner Brightexpectations; a half-brother to Group II winner Bennetta; a half-sister to Group II winner Mimi Lebrock; and a filly from Group III winner and Queensland Oaks runner-up Marheta.
The Golden Slipper winning son of More Than Ready (USA) currently holds a Top 10 position on the Australian General Sires List by earnings with four stakes-winners this season headed by dual Group I winner Dissident as well as Bring Something, Bring Me the Maid and Thurlow.
Also riding high in the Top 10 sires by earnings is his ill-fated barn mate Northern Meteor with three stakes-winners this season headed by Caulfield Guineas winner Shooting to Win, unbeaten Group II winner Deep Field and Atmospherical.
Northern Meteor has 28 entries from his last crop of foals.
Stratum is our third sire currently placed in the Top 10 by earnings and has 15 entries for Magic Millions including Lot 1, which Widden Stud will offer, a dashing grey colt, the first foal of Group III winner Valentine Miss.
Also to star for Stratum are: a half-sister to Group II winner Go the Knuckle; a colt from Group II winner De Lightning Ridge; a colt from juvenile stakes-winner Isurava; and a colt from South American Group I winner Miss Victory (Arg).
Also represented at Magic Millions are Star Witness (10), Nicconi (7) and Snippetson (7).
