New Stakes-Winner for Snippetson
Lightly raced four year-old Snippets Land has never missed collecting a prizemoney cheque in 11 starts to date, claiming his biggest prize in the Listed National Sprint in Canberra on Sunday.
Now with Peter and Paul Snowden after starting his career with John O’Shea, Snippets Land charged home from back in the field for Hugh Bowman to post a length win in the 1400 metre sprint.
Snippets Land was a $120,000 Magic Millions Session Five purchase from Raheen Stud for astute bloodstock agent Steve Brem, who was also responsible for the purchase of Saturday’s Group III ATC Aspiration Stakes winner Adorabeel and Morphettville winner Defiant Angel.
Running for Ross Visalli’s Yellowbrick Road Pty Ltd, Snippets Land has won four races from 11 starts earning over $155,000 in prizemoney.
The seventh stakes-winner for our value sire Snippetson, Snippets Land was bred by Raheen Stud and is a half-brother to stakes-placed Canny Franco from unraced Testa Rossa mare Seduction Line, a half-sister to stakes-winners Slipstream and Blazing Aspect.
