Winless since taking out a Listed race at Flemington during the 2017 Melbourne Cup Carnival, talented sprinting mare Our Crown Mistress was back to her best at Doomben on Saturday when scoring an all the way win in the Listed BRC Just Now Quality.

Prepared by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, the daughter of Star Witness was fit and ready to fire, leading throughout for Brett Preblle to win the 1350 metre contest by a long neck.
