Pinhook Winners for Sebring and Stratum at NZB Ready to Run
Red hot sire Sebring had a big result at the 2015 NZB Ready to Run Sale at Karaka this week when a colt from Debutante sold for $280,000 making for a hugely successful pinhook.
The talented youngster was offered by Mana Park and bought by the Polletti Corporation for $280,000.
A half-brother to stakes-winner Veuvelicious, the colt was bought by Paul Willetts from the Widden draft at the Inglis Classic Summer Book Sale for just $36,000, so provided a handsome return on investment.
Stratum kicked a goal when his colt from Dash for Gretna (SAfr) sold for $260,000 to the bid of Mr KP Fung of Hong Kong.
Consigned for sale by Lyndhurst Farm, the colt was snaffled by them for $80,000 from the Blue Gum Farm draft at Inglis Premier and is from South African Group II winner Dash for Gretna.
