Widden Graduate Impresses for Gai

Sydney – A $100,000 Magic Millions purchase from the draft of Widden Stud for Gai Waterhouse/ James Harron Bloodstock is Raunchy Rocker, who scored an impressive debut win at the Randwick Kensington track on Monday.

Easy in the market, the Gai Waterhouse trained filly finished strongly for James McDonald to power home and win the 1400 metre restricted event by a length.

Raunchy Rocker carries the blue and red colours of Greg and Donna Kolivos of Pierro fame and is the first winner for well-bred import Ranchy (USA), who comes from the family of champion sires Storm Cat and Royal Academy.
