Widden Sell $2.2million Zoustar Filly to Top Inglis Easter Day 1
It was a stellar day of trade for Widden Stud on Sunday at Inglis Easter with Zoustar producing four of the top six lots sold and Widden had the honour of selling the session topper with the stunning filly from Group I winner Prompt Response fetching $2.2million to the bid of James Harron Bloodstock.
She is the third foal of $1.6million earner Prompt Response, who was bought by Widden as a broodmare prospect and her two previous foals sold for $500,000 (colt by I Am Invincible) and $1.3 million (filly by I Am Invincible).
She was bought by James Harron Bloodstock on behalf of John Camilleri of Fairway Thoroughbreds so will get every opportunity to succeed.

Zoustar also had the highest priced colt with Segenhoe Stud thrilled with $1.9million for the third foal of Group I placed stakes-winner Fundamentalist that was bought by Tom Magnier.
Other big sales for Zoustar were $950,000 paid for fillies from Invictus Salute and Formality that were bought by Andrew Williams Bloodstock and Sheamus Mills Bloodstock (FBAA) / James Bester Bloodstock respectively.
At the end of the first day Zoustar is leading the sire averages with 13 yearlings selling at an average $753,462
