I Am Invincible delivered a big result for Widden Stud on Wednesday at Magic Millions with our filly from stakes-winning Shamardal (USA) mare Vezelay fetching $1million to the bid of Yulong trading as Highway Farm.

The filly is a half-sister to promising metro winning filly Zouphoria and is bred on the same cross as superstar sprinting mare Imperatriz.

“It is a family that Widden have owned for a long time and a family that I have seen over many years and everything out of the family has been very good looking from decades ago,” said Vin Cox

“No exception there and being by the most prominent stallion in the county and a good race-winning mare, it is a formula that works.

“She’s got residual for a for a long way forward and I think her half-sister (Zouphoria) with Gai Waterhouse is a bit above average so hopefully she can go the right way as well.”

Sadly, Vezalay died prematurely in 2022 and this filly is her final foal.
