Widden Stud enjoyed great results at the record breaking Inglis Classic Yearling Sale selling 27 yearlings for $2,107,000 in Book 1 with our best result a Zoustar colt from Tigress Lily that made $200,000 to the bid of John O’Shea Racing.

Zoustar was super popular as he has been at all sales this year with 14 yearlings averaging $145,357, while Nicconi had some terrific results with seven yearlings averaging $116,429.

Top seller for Nicconi was a colt from Final Star that made $200,000 for Fernrigg Farm when bought by D Raphael / G Ryan / Upper Bloodstock.

The colt was a super successful pinhook having been bought for $8,000 from an Inglis Digital Online Sale last year.

A half-brother to two winners, he comes from the family of Blue Diamond contender General Beau, who has won both of the traditional colts and geldings Blue Diamond lead up races.

Star Witness also had a $200,000 colt with Kitchwin Hills selling a cracking type from Steps to the Beat  to Simple Bloodstock Services.

Star Witness had 12 yearlings average $84,792.

Your Song had just one yearling in Book 1, but the Gooree Stud bred and consigned colt from Ocean Tempest proved a hit with buyers knocked down to John O’Shea Racing for $170,000.
