Widden Stud Stallion Parade – All Welcome

Widden Stud will open the gates on the morning of Saturday August 22 to welcome everyone for a morning tea and stallion parade featuring our Group I producing, Golden Slipper winning sires Sebring and Stratum, as well as Cox Plate hero Shamus Award, who has let down into a sensational looking young stallion.

Also catch up with brilliant Group I winner Your Song, whose first yearlings will be offered next year, as well as promising young sires Star Witness, Nicconi and Tickets.

Visitors will also enjoy viewing some of the very first foals by Shamus Award and Zoustar, who has travelled to Victoria to stand at Woodside Park this spring.

“We will be having our annual client parades and lunches from Thursday August 20 through until Monday August 24 including a special day for the media, but our open day on the Saturday is all about celebrating our success with a wider audience of bloodstock owners and racing fans,” said Antony Thompson.

Visitors will be welcome from 9.30am until 12 noon with the stallion parade scheduled for 10.00am and refreshments including morning tea on arrival and a light brunch to follow.
